Bagration 1944

A Chain of Command 28mm Public Participation Game

 

This site has been set up for those people who are participating in the large public participation game at CANCON 2015. The participation game seeks to play a slice of the action that occurred in the summer of 1944 as part of Operation Bagration.  An operation that saw the destruction of Germany’s Army Group Centre. Players can chose to play either Soviet or German forces as you advance with the Soviets or defend as the Germans. Will you hold the line and stop the soviets or cover your rear as you withdrawal across the Vistula river and the safety of Warsaw.

Bagration 1944 will be played Saturday and Sunday only, there will be six gaming places available each day. Participants will be able to choose to command of a full platoon plus select supports and you are able (if you possess a suitable painted German or Soviet army) to bring yours to the game and participate. Each day the game will start at 9.30 with a break for lunch at 12.30, recommencing at 1.30 and wrapping up at 5.00, you will be able to play a part or whole game per day just see the game coordinators at the table.
